Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Set up in 2001, the .NAME generic TLD is the sole TLD intended for personal websites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other labels people are famous by. Initially, solely third-level registrations were possible, so if you planned to buy john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased third-level domains remained operational.

Through our company, you can get your .NAME domain for a period between one and ten years. You will have the opportunity to alter the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization code from the present registration provider and we will renew it when the transfer has been completed. There are no specific prerequisites on who can obtain a .NAME domain, but in order to keep the objective behind its creation alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration can be challenged.
